Richmond Sanitary Service Rates

Our rates are based on brown waste cart capacity. The Basic Residential Rate is for service up to 35 gallons. All residential rates are established by ordinance in the various cities and county. Billing Schedule
Commercial customers are billed monthly; residential customers are billed quarterly. You are billed at the beginning of each billing cycle. Payment is due in full by the 30th of the first month. Past due accounts are subject to late payment charges. Checks returned by your bank will be subjeect to a processing charge of $25.00 for the first check and $35.00 for any subsequent dishonored checks.

If payment is not received within 60 days of the due date, the account becomes delinquent. Delinquent accounts are subject to lien procedings. To reinstate service for a suspened account, a $30.00 Service Interruption/Reinstatement fee will apply. One (and only one) Service Interruption fee may be waived in the lifetime of an account.

All accounts are written off after they've been delinquent for 120 days. To reinstate service for a written-off account, a $50.00 deposit is required.

Terms
